WP3: Biogeodynamics Tools

Developing Open-Access Computational Tools and Databases

WP3 focuses on the development of numerical tools, models, and databases that facilitate interdisciplinary research in biogeodynamics. By integrating data from geodynamics, climate modeling, and biosphere evolution, we aim to create open-access platforms that enhance scientific collaboration and innovation.

Our main objective is to develop computational frameworks that can simulate the complex interactions between Earth's deep and surface processes. These tools will help researchers analyze past, present, and future biogeodynamic scenarios.

We are developing high-resolution models for plate tectonics, mantle convection, climate-tectonic coupling, and ecosystem evolution. Our databases will centralize data from field studies, simulations, and historical reconstructions.

The tools developed in WP3 will enable researchers to test hypotheses about Earth's evolution, improve climate predictions, and contribute to sustainable resource management by integrating geodynamic, climatic, and biological factors.
