The online school is organized by the Working Group on Biogeodynamics Education of the COST Action EUROBIG and hosted by the Institute of Geological Sciences, Polish Academy of Sciences.
This school is primarily intended for Masters and PhD students, though it is open to all interested participants. It offers a comprehensive introduction to numerical methods and tectonic, mantle, and surface processes, concluding with an open discussion on biogeodynamics.
Outline of the program:
Registration is open until 15 July 2025 via this link.
The number of places is limited, and participants will be selected based on the information provided in the registration form.

Biogeodynamics – an emerging scientific field that explores the interface of geodynamics, geomorphology, climate, ocean and atmosphere sciences, geobiology and ecology with special focus on how the evolution of the planetary interiors, surface, atmosphere, ocean, climate and life is intrinsically interrelated.
The main aim of the meeting is to evolve this new discipline and the progress in this direction in terms of both science and education. To learn more visit the meeting website.
Connect with peers and improve your skills on project writing in preparation for international postdoctoral applications, such as Marie-Curie and Humboldt fellowships.
During the General Assembly 2025 of the European Geosciences Union, EUROBIG co-sponsors section BG5.3: "Co-evolution of life and planets: biogeodynamics, biogeochemistry, biogeomorphology, and biodiversity over deep time".
